HPE ProLiant DL180 Gen10
Entry 2U rack node for small and branch Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI) clusters — cost-optimised, capacity-friendly.
Overview
Azure Local node. The HPE ProLiant DL180 Gen10 is HPE's entry 2U rack server, and a cost-effective building block for small Azure Local (formerly Azure Stack HCI) clusters — branch offices, retail sites and smaller organisations that want the hybrid model without a large up-front footprint.
Where it fits
It suits two- and three-node clusters where capacity matters more than peak compute: think file and print, a handful of line-of-business VMs, and local storage for an edge site that syncs back to Azure. For performance-tier workloads — VDI, busy databases — step up to an all-flash node such as the DL380 Gen11 for Azure Stack HCI. Madatech sizes the cluster, sources the hardware through our HPE channel, and runs the deployment and Azure registration.
